HOW MUCH CURRENT DO THE ICE UNITS DRAW?
12 volt single fan units use approximately 5 amps.

12 volt dual fan units use approximately 10 amps
24 volt single fan units use approximately 2 1/2 amps
24 volt dual fan units use approximately 5 amps


HOW LONG WILL THE UNIT COOL?
Between 1 and 4 hours depending on the size unit you purchase.


CAN THE UNIT BE POWERED BY BATTERY OR SOLAR POWER?
A battery pack can be found at any big box store.

CAN DRY ICE BE USED IN THE UNIT?
Do not use dry ice in the unit. You can use block ice, ice packs or crushed ice.

CAN YOU USE ANTIFREEZE IN THE UNIT?
There is no need for any liquid other than water.

WHERE CAN I USE THE ARCTIC AIR COOLER?
Airplanes, boats, tents, RVs, in homes during power failure, automobiles, toll booths - anywhere you need cool air.

HOW DOES THE UNIT COOL THE AIR?
The air flow is directed across the ice and the coil which contains cold water.

IS THIS A SWAMP COOLER?
This is not a swamp cooler. A swamp cooler adds humidity to the air.

HOW MUCH ICE PER HOUR DOES THE UNIT USE?

It is hard to say because of so many variables, but approximately 8 to 10 lbs. per hour would be reasonable.

ARE THE REPLACEMENT PARTS EXPENSIVE?

No replacement part will cost you over $55.00.

IS THERE A WARRANTY? HOW LONG?
There is a 100% satisfaction guaranteed warranty. If you are not satisfied, return the unit for any reason within 30 days and your purchase price will be refunded. There is a 90 day warranty on all parts.
